Hurdsfield Children’s Centre is situated in the grounds of
Hurdsfield Primary School. This web page tells you where to find
us, when the centre is open and the services available.
The Centre provides a safe and welcoming place for all children,
young people and their families, irrespective of need.
The centre also provides a range of services from ante-natal,
post-natal appointments with midwives, well baby clinics and child
developmental checks provided by health visitors. A variety of
sessions are also delivered weekly such as Breastfeeding Support,
Tiny Tots, Stay and Play, access to a sensory room.
The self help group offers support to mums who are feeling
anxious, of low mood, experiencing difficulty in bonding with their
baby/ babies, or experiencing post natal depression.
The group meets in the centre on Fridays 10-12 pm. For more

Easter Stay and Play sessions 4th and 11th April are now fully booked. Unfortunately we cannot offer a place to anyone unless they have already booked onto the sessions.
Come and meet the spring animals at the Centre. Children will be able to bottle feed the lambs and learn all about the new spring arrivals. Craft activities available too!
Time: 1:30- 3:30pm
Come along and have fun helping to plant up the garden areas ready for Spring. Decorate a plant pot and enter our Sunflower competition. Just remember to bring your wellies!

Are you breastfeeding your baby? Would you benefit from some
support or advice from other mums who are also breastfeeding?
The group is facilitated by Cherubs Breastfeeding peer support
volunteers.

To Celebrate the re-launch, Hurdsfield Children's Centre walking group are holding a Stay and Play Wellie Walk on Thursday 28th February 1.30 to 3.00 p.m.
The walk will be held regardless of weather conditions. The walk is;
