Park Lane School – proposed expansion
Cheshire East Council has undertaken a sufficiency review of its special educational needs provision across the borough. In response the authority have issued a public notice regarding a proposal to expand Park Lane School by an additional 40 places, which if approved, will increase the schools capacity from 82 places to 122 places.
Park Lane School provides for pupils aged 2 – 19 with a range of complex needs including:
- SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
- PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
- Complex needs including Language/Communication
- ASC (Autism )
- Combination of the above

15 July - Public drop in session
A public drop in session is being held at the school on Monday 15 July at 9.30am till 1.00pm to view the anticipated building plans for the proposed expansion.
9 July - Cabinet meeting
Cabinet members meet to consider the feedback received during the consultation period and make a decision on the proposed expansion. The agenda and papers for the meeting will be displayed here in the week before the meeting.
22 May - Consultation Closed
Consultation on the proposed expansion of Park Lane School has closed. Cabinet members will consider the feedback received and make a decision on the proposed expansion at their meeting on 9 July 2019.
