Park Lane School – proposed expansion

Cheshire East Council has undertaken a sufficiency review of its special educational needs provision across the borough. In response the authority have issued a public notice regarding a proposal to expand Park Lane School by an additional 40 places, which if approved, will increase the schools capacity from 82 places to 122 places.

Park Lane School provides for pupils aged 2 – 19 with a range of complex needs including:

  • SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties)
  • PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
  • Complex needs including Language/Communication
  • ASC (Autism )
  • Combination of the above

The statutory 4 week representation period will run from 24 April 2019 to 22 May 2019. For further information regarding the proposal please read the statutory proposal (PDF,103KB)

In addition a public drop in session will be held at the school on 9 May between 3.30 and 6.00 p.m. when representatives from the school and the local authority will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Feedback your views.

All feedback received during the 4 week representation period, will be considered before a decision is made on the proposal.
