Annual Governors' Confererence - Friday 11 October 2019 - "Brave Governance - The Sequel"

The Cheshire East Annual Governors’ Conference took place on Friday 11 October 2019 at Cranage Hall and once again, it was well attended by representatives from all three sectors - Primary, Secondary and Special Schools, inclusive of Maintained Schools and Academies.

We would like to give a special thank you to the children from St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Crewe who performed a selection of songs to celebrate their love of singing.

 Feedback was very positive and some comments are included below:

The agenda included knowledgeable and inspirational speakers who covered the theme ‘Brave Governance’ focussing on the new Ofsted Framework, where delegates considered the first of the three I's - Intent. Ian Gilbert who is the founder of Independent Thinking was our keynote speaker along with Alex Robinson from GovernorHub.
