Applications are considered by the admission authority of each school named as a preference on the application form. For academies, voluntary (church) aided, free, foundation and studio schools, the academy trust or the governing body is the admission authority for the school.
The admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools is the local authority. Information regarding the oversubscription criteria for schools is available in our School Admissions information booklets.
The documents below will show information on the lowest criterion and related distance that places were allocated to for each school within secondary and primary for September 2020, and is relevant as at offer date of 2 March and 16 April 2020 respectively.
When viewing the information sheets, please note that distance is measured using the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) which measures straight line distances in miles from the school’s coordinate point to the point of residence’s coordinate point.
Please note: Schools where additional places have been agreed above PAN (i.e. above Published Admission Number) are highlighted.
