In Cheshire East a civil marriage ceremony or civil partnership ceremony can take place in the Statutory Ceremony Rooms at the Register Officer for the District of Cheshire East, Crewe and at the Registration Office in Macclesfield.
You can also marry in The Municipal
Macclesfield Town Hall or at any venue approved by Cheshire East Council.
The times are subject to the agreement of the Registration Service.
We are also able to offer limited availability for the beautiful Mayor’s Reception Room at The Municipal Buildings (top picture) and The Silk Room at Macclesfield Town Hall (bottom picture).
In line with government guidance on social distancing, both rooms will accommodate up to 20 people, This total includes the two registrars and the couple. They are equipped with a CD sound system and are always supplied with flower arrangements.

For a more intimate ceremony, we offer the Mayor's Parlour located in
the Municipal Buildings for up to 10 guests and the couple.

There is no designated parking at either location and all usual traffic enforcements remain in place.
