Housing Land Supply
National Planning Policy requires local planning authorities to identify and update annually a supply of deliverable sites sufficient to provide a minimum of five years’ worth of housing against their housing requirement.
The Cheshire East Housing Monitoring Update (HMU) provides a review of the council's housing delivery and supply to a base date of 31 March 2019.
The report has regard to the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance. It includes information on housing completions, commitments, housing requirement, five year supply calculation (including shortfall), relevant buffer and number of years of supply.
