Housing Monitoring Update 2019/20
National Planning Policy requires local planning authorities to identify and update annually a supply of deliverable sites sufficient to provide a minimum of five years’ worth of housing against their housing requirement.
The Cheshire East Housing Monitoring Update (HMU) provides a review of the council's housing delivery and supply to a base date of 31 March 2020.
The report has regard to the National Planning Policy Framework and Planning Practice Guidance. It includes information on housing completions, commitments, housing requirement, five year supply calculation (including shortfall), relevant buffer and number of years of supply.
Housing completions and supply
The Council previously published its housing supply information (at 31 March 2020) in July 2020. Details of the council's housing supply (at 31 March 2020) can be found in the below ‘Housing Completions and Supply Summary’ document and appendices.
