Children and Young People’s Trust Activity Week
26 August 2020
In case you missed it, the Cheshire East Children and Young People's Trust hosted a week of activities recently with the aim of celebrating services, and promoting how young people can get involved in shaping those services. Each day had a theme from the Children and Young People's Plan, which has six priorities, including ensuring that children, young people and young adults with additional needs have better chances in life.
Activities ranged from fun and informative like making a dream catcher or lava lamp to talking about serious issues such as knife crime and drugs and alcohol. You can watch all the action on their YouTube channel including a lovely film about living with autism made by young people from Wilmslow High School.
