Stopping Smoking
Nicotine (the drug within tobacco) is extremely addictive. Smoking just one cigarette can get you hooked and like most addictions you are more likely to stop when you access support, whether this is behavioural and/or pharmacotherapy treatment.
There is a large variety of nicotine replacement therapies available – ask your GP, pharmacist or local stop smoking service what support you are able to access.
