Weekly timetable - December 2019

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The Centre is closed from 4.30pm on Thursday 19 December until 9.00am on Thursday 2 January 2020. If you have a general query on Tuesday 31 December 2019 during the hours of 9am-4pm, call Oak Tree Children’s Centre on 01270 371250. If you have a concern about a child during these times, please call CHECS on 0300 123 5012. If you have a concern about a child out of hours, including weekends and bank holidays, please contact the Emergency Duty Team (Out of Hours) on 0300 123 5022

Parenting Journey - Stop 8 (12+ months)

4 December

11.30am-12.30pm

This is an informal group session.  Lots of advice from Health Visitors and Family Service Workers about different ways of communicating with your baby and play activities to promote language development, enabling parents to be confident and informed about their baby.

Parenting Journey - Stop 2 (antenatal)

11 December

09:30am-10:30am

Health Professionals and Family Service Workers provide support to expectant parents offering advice and information prior to baby's birth. This is also a chance to have a look around the Children's Centre. Invite letters are sent by Health Professionals

Parenting Journey Stop 5 (9-16 weeks)

11 December

11.00am-12.30pm

This Stop is delivered by Health Professionals and Family Service Workers.  It is an opportunity for new parents to visit the Children's Centre and meet other parents.  The focus of this Stop is safety in the home and communicating with your baby.  Invite letters will be sent to you.  Please confirm with your children's centre if you are unable to make that date.

Parenting Journey - Stop 6 (weaning) 

18 December

 

11:00am-12:30pm

This Stop is delivered by Health Professionals and Family Service Workers. The focus is communicating with your baby and weaning. Booking required
