These can help your baby to feel securely attached, reduce crying and can help with discomforts such as colic.

Child Health Hub

As part of the new Child Health Hub project within Cheshire East, we have recently commenced a Jaundice Clinic running out of the Children's Centre on a Monday and Thursday morning. This clinic is facilitated by one of our Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners. Prior to the project, the clinic previously took place at Leighton Hospital. Referral into this clinic is completed by either community midwives or health visitors.

Furthermore, we are soon to be commencing a new clinic which is focused around an 'Unsettled infant' pathway for babies up to 6 months old, who are not acutely unwell. This clinic will take place all day on a Tuesday, and is again facilitated by an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner. Referrals into this clinic can again be completed by community midwives, health visitors and also GPs. Potential reasons for referrals into this clinic would include cows milk protein allergy.
