About Macclesfield Children’s Centres

All three Children’s Centres are located within the heart of their communities you can access them on foot, by car and they are on the local bus routes, direct from Macclesfield town centre.

Each centre has a team of friendly and experienced staff who work across the Macclesfield collaborative that offer many activities to children and their families within our community.

We provide a one stop shop for the community where they can access services such as: midwifery, health visiting, family support,  play events and more.

As you visit and engage with your local children’s centre in the coming weeks, you will asked to complete a new membership form. We are using a new secure data system and need to re-register families so we can ensure we hold your most recent information that you provide to us. If you wish to receive updates going forward, you must ensure you complete your email address on the new membership form.

Please ask us if you would like more details.

Child Health Hub

Cheshire East Integrated Care Partnership are excited to announce that a project is well underway to develop a Child Health Hub in the area. The idea of the Child Health Hub will be to bring care closer to home for the children of Cheshire East. This will be in the form of potentially developing new clinics and care pathways & linking communication more effectively between our GP colleagues and Paediatric departments in Hospitals to ensure that all children receive care where they need it. The project is constantly evolving, so we will continue to keep you updated in regards to ongoing progress.

If you have a concern about a child or your enquiry is urgent contact CheCS on 0300 123 5012 and out of hours on 0300 123 5022.

Parking at Hurdsfield Children’s centre and Primary School

Due to health and safety concerns about the increased volumes of traffic using the School and Children’s Centre car park, a decision has been taken that as of Monday 25th March 2019 there will be no parking facilities available to the general public on the Children Centre and the School car park.

We would kindly request that you park on the surrounding roads and support us in keeping the children and the public safe. The School and Children’s Centre can be accessed via the pedestrian entrance into School.

Thank you for your support with this matter.
