Lending library Monday to Friday 9.00- 4.30pm Call in to borrow up to 3 books per child. Your books can then be enjoyed at home for up to 3 weeks at a time. Each child will be given a FREE gift when they join and for every 6 books your child borrows, they will be rewarded with a Bookstart Bear Club certificate. There's a total of 10 certificates to collect.

Well Baby Clinic

A drop-in clinic to have your baby weighed and a chance to discuss any health or development concerns with our dedicated team of Health Visitors.

Development Checks

Parenting Journey Stop 7 & 10

1.30pm to 4.00pm

Appointments available with our team of Health Visitors for your child's routine health and development checks.

Please call 0151 514 222, option 6, to book your child's appointment. Appointments are also available on Friday mornings.

Antenatal classes for first- time parents, providing information around the later stages of pregnancy, labour and beyond.

Appointments available with our team of Health Visitors for your child's routine health and development checks.

Please call 0151 514 222 option 6, to book your child's appointment. Appointments are also available on Wednesday afternoons.

Stay and Play

10.00am to 11.00am

(term-time only)

Held most weeks during Term-time

Contact the centre for session dates and themes.

For children aged from birth up to 5 years old. Come and explore a range of play activities, including messy play and outdoor play, with an interactive rhyme and song time to end the session.

The sensory rooms at Ash Grove and Hurdsfield are available to use when there is no Stay and Play; please call to book your slot.

Please also feel free to pop in and borrow some books from our libraries.

Little stars

1.00pm to 3.00pm

A parent-led drop in group for children aged 0-5 years with disabilities and/or additional needs. Come and join us for fun activities in a relaxed atmosphere.

A place where children can play and parents can find support. Siblings are welcome too.

Parenting Journey

Parenting journey is a new universal offer for parents and carers across Cheshire East.

Delivered by Children's Centre staff and Health Visitors, Parenting Journey consists of 12 stops from pregnancy until your child start school and provides advice and support around health, your child's development and their readiness for school.

Baby massage

Learn how to massage your baby whilst helping strengthen baby to parent communication, boost self esteem and confidence in parenting, relax both parent and baby, improve attachment and bonding, relieve wind, colic and constipation and reduce crying.

Speak to a member of staff if you would like to join us.

Sensory Room

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm

Help stimulate your child's senses in a relaxing environment with a range of sensory toys and equipment.

For up to 2 adults and 2 babies/children at a time.
