John Lindley poetry evening
Join us on Tuesday 26 March at 7.30pm for an evening with former Cheshire Poet Laureate, John Lindley. John will be reading from, and talking about, his latest prizewinning collection, Love and Crossbones. Tickets £3.50, including a glass of wine. Please book in advance. Doors open at 7.00pm.
Macmillan Cancer information and support
Have you or someone you know been affected by cancer? The Macmillan Cancer Information stand will be here between 10.00am and 12.00 noon on Tuesdays 26 March; 9 and 23 April, and 7 May.
Test your general knowledge at our quiz night on Friday 5 April at 7.30pm. Teams of up to six people welcome. Tickets £4.00, including a raffle. Bar open from 7.00pm for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. prizes for winner, runners up and best team name.
Easter bank holidays
The library will be closed on the 19 and 22 April for Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Ancestry taster sessions
The cost is £3.50 for an hour long one to one session. Please contact the library for details and to book a session.
Computer Buddy sessions
Basic computer skills sessions with an IT buddy are now available at the library at £2.50 per hour. This entitles you to an hour's free use of the computers after your tutored session to practice what you have learned. Please contact the library for more details.

- Book Chat - 2.00-3.00pm - monthly on second Tuesday of each month. All welcome to our informal free book group, where we chat over a cup of tea or coffee
- Rhymetime - 2.00-2.30pm - weekly. Children must be accompanied by an adult
- LEGO Club - 3.30-4.45pm - monthly, on first Thursday of each month. Free; no need to book. Suitable for children aged 4 years and over. Duplo available for younger siblings
- Rhymetime - 10.30-11.00am - weekly. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer
