What's new?

Fall in green

On Friday 20 April at 2.30-3.30pm we have a poetry and piano event, Fall in Green, with Deborah Edgeley and Mark Sheeky. Free, and no need to book. Refreshments available.

Saturday storytime

On Saturday 28 April at 11.00am we are launching a new storytime session. This will be held on the last Saturday of each month. Stories, rhymes and songs for all the family to enjoy. Free, and no need to book. 

Teenage creative writers group

On Monday 30 April we are launching a teenage creative writers group at 4.00-4.45pm. Further details to follow, or contact the library.

May Bank Holiday opening hours

Please note that the library will be closed on Monday 7 and Monday 28 May for the Bank Holidays.

David Yearsley author visit

On Saturday 19 May at 10.00-11.00am meet children's author, David Yearsley, who will be talking about and reading from his story, The Mystery of Cloverdaisy Cottage. This is a free family event, most suitable for children aged 5-9 years. No need to book

Citizens Advice Bureau

The Cheshire East Citizens Advice Bureau now have an office on the first floor of the library. Drop-in sessions are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9.30am and 12.30pm. No appointment necessary. Advice line is 03444 111 444.

Jobcentre Plus

Jobcentre Plus staff will be on site to provide help with digital job search and online claims. Appointments only on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9.00-12.00 noon and 1.00-5.00pm. Please telephone 01270 538 155 to make an appointment.
