Library order and collect service

Libraries are not currently open for general use, but you can use our free Order and Collect service. How to use Crewe local Library Order and Collect service:

Ring 01270 375295 or email crewe.library@cheshireeast.gov.uk with the details. Please note that library staff will be available for limited hours only (see below)
Provide your library card number as well as your contact details
Provide a brief description of the number and type of books you require. Please be aware that the availability of books is limited to what is on the library shelves. Regrettably specific book requests can’t be placed at this time

The library staff will choose books for you, up to a maximum of 8 each time. They will issue them to your library card and arrange a collection time with you. You can also return books when you come to collect.

Please wear a face covering when collecting your books.

Please note, the Customer Service enquiry desk and the People's Network public computers close down 15 minutes before the library closing time.

Parking at Crewe Library

The Civic Centre car park is short stay Pay and Display. There are other long stay Pay and Display car parks are available nearby in Oak Street and there is also free parking available in Thomas Street (just 5 minutes walk away).

Designated spaces area available on Lyon Street and Prince Albert Street.

Work Hub at Crewe Library

The Springboard Work Hub is offering an appointment based service on Tuesdays. There are 30 minute appointments available between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
