Class Descriptions

Metabolic Fitness

HIIT  (High Intensity Interval Training) will get you better results in a much shorter space of time. Not only that, but this style of training will raise your metabolism meaning that you will continue to burn calories long after the workout has finished. Raising your metabolism will improve your ability to burn fat. Classes last 30 minutes and uses bodyweight exercises which target the largest muscle groups in the body for greater effect. This is not an endurance class so there’s no need for you to pace yourself to avoid looking like the least fit person in the room. There is no choreography so don't worry if you don’t know your left from your right

Aquafit

Aerobics in the water, suitable for all abilities including non-swimmers. This class reduces impact on joints whilst the water resistance challenges the muscles.

Zumba Gold

A fusion of Latin and international music that creates a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness class. Come and join the party at a gentler pace! 

Circuit Training

A simple to follow effective workout, consisting of a series of short bursts of cardio and strength exercises which focus on all areas of the body. A serious workout suitable for all levels.

Zumba

Power Cardio

A class that combines cardio, weights and toning for an all over body workout. Suitable for all levels.

Legs, Bums and Tums

A great toning class for the lower body, focusing on legs and abdominals - this class is designed to get you in shape! Easy to follow and perfect for all levels.

Body Conditioning

All ages and abilities welcome, workout at your own level! Tone and define your body shape, improve your stamina and mental focus, lower your cholesterol and blood pressure, increase your metabolism and cardio strength.

Junior Circuits

For ages 11-14 years old. A simple to follow effective workout, consisting of a series of short bursts of cardio and strength exercises which focus on all areas of the body. A serious workout suitable for all levels.

Yoga

Practicing yoga is a beneficial way to keep your body fit and supple. It is also a great way to cope with stress, relive tension and deal with anxiety. It involves stretching postures that help to tone your muscles and joints, including your spine and entire skeletal system. Yogic breathing exercises revitalise the body and help control the mind, leaving you calm and refreshed. Anyone can practice yoga, you don't need any special equipment or clothing -  all you need is the will to pursue a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Cardio Blast

A class that concentrates on short bursts of cardio combined with strength and muscle toning exercises. Suitable for all levels.
