Ways to get involved
The UK has a long history of organising street parties to celebrate large national events. Why not one with your neighbours to mark the occasion? You could apply for a road closure (more details below), hold a community lunch at your local pocket park, or join in with one of the events being organised by our local charities.
The Big Help Out
Volunteers are the unsung heroes of our communities, with over 12 million people donating their time during the Covid-19 pandemic to help others. Many of these volunteers were supporting charities and community organisations, and now thousands of them (of all shapes and sizes!) are coming together to give everyone the chance to try a new volunteering opportunity!
