Business case

The Congleton link road will be a 5.5 kilometre (approximately) single carriageway road between the A534 Sandbach Road and the A536 Macclesfield Road.

Congleton Link Road was allocated £45million of funding through the Cheshire and Warrington Growth deal. View the funding application (PDF, 952KB).

A Dft compliant economic business case is under development. Attached is the initial economic case, traffic modelling reports and the option assessment report.
