Traffic regulation order - Heathfield Road and Monk’s Lane, Audlem

Notice of proposal Cheshire East Borough Council (Heathfield Road and Monk’s Lane, Audlem) (no stopping) and (prohibition of waiting) Order 2018

  1. Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (“the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the 1984 Act.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to:

  • Introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths of road:
    • Heathfield Road, Audlem (west side) from a point 94 metres south of its junction with Monk’s Lane for a distance of 25.56 metres in a southerly direction
    • from a point 5 metres south of its junction with Monk’s Lane for a distance of 57.22 metres in a southerly direction
  • introduce a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days on the following lengths and sides of road:
    • Heathfield Road, Audlem (north east side) – from a point in line with the common boundary of property Nos. 47 and 49 Heathfield Road in a south easterly direction to a point in line with the common boundary of property Nos. 56 and 58 Heathfield Road
    • Heathfield Road, Audlem (south west side) – from a point in line with the common boundary of property Nos. 47 and 49 Heathfield Road in a south easterly direction to a point 5 metres south east of its junction with Monk’s Lane
    • Monk’s Lane, Audlem (both sides) – from its junction with Heathfield Road for a distance of 14 metres in a north easterly direction
