Polling Stations

Polling stations are the places registered voters go to to vote.  Your polling station will be on your polling card.

The polling stations are open from 7am through to 10pm

  • Can I vote at any polling station?

No, you must vote at the polling station designated to you.  It is shown on your poll card.

  • I can’t get to my polling station, can someone come and pick me up?

Unfortunately no. Voters can apply for a postal vote, alternatively political parties may arrange lifts for voters. The Elections Office is there to ensure the efficient running of the election, but cannot organise transport for voters.
