What personal information is being processed and what for
As part of your Ranger Service email newsletter subscription we process your name and email address plus a record of your interactions with individual emails. This information helps to improve the service we provide to you and our other customers.

As part of the email subscription process you will have given us your consent to receive our regular event email newsletter. This consent can be removed at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of any these emails or by visiting your profile page on the MailChimp website.

The personal information you provide as part of the email newsletter subscription will be shared with MailChimp who are our email newsletter provider.
Where we get your information from
You provide this information to use when you subscribe to our email newsletter. Your interactions (e.g. whether you have opened one of our emails and whether you have clicked on links within the email) are collected by MailChimp after you have received an event newsletter email from us.
How long we will keep your personal information
We store your information for as long as you consent to receive the email newsletters. If you wish to withdraw your consent you can unsubscribe from the email at anytime by clicking on the link at the bottom of every email or by visiting your profile page on the MailChimp website.
How your information is stored
The information is held within MailChimp’s systems and also regularly backed up on council servers with access restricted to authorised users only.
What happens if you don't provide us with your information
If you do not provide us with your information then you will be unable to receive our email newsletter will not be a subscriber to our event email newsletter.
