Public urged to report road defects direct to council

Cheshire East Council would like to remind residents to help the authority by reporting any highways issues via the Cheshire East Highways web site – and not through any third party social media platforms.

A council spokesperson said: “We would encourage residents to use our ‘report it’ digital tool, which is an extremely effective way of alerting us to any local concerns that may require further investigation.

“This process is quicker and can avoid duplication of work for the council’s highways service.”
