Latest COVID-19 figures for Cheshire East
These are the most recent data from the Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health 7 and 14 day daily dashboard. Using data from 26 October 2020, there have been:
- 861 cases in the previous 7 days
- 683 cases in the prior 7 days (up to 19 October)
- 224 cases per 100,000 population in the previous 7 days
- 225 cases in England per 100,000 in the previous 7 days
You may have noticed that our numbers are a few days behind. This is because it takes time for people to take a test, for that specimen to be tested and for that result to reach us. Because of this, our numbers for the last three days will look artificially low and can give the wrong impression.

After a substantial rise in the rate of cases over the past two months, it appears from the last few days that the rate continues to increase.
