To plan your rail journey you can use National Rail Enquiries (08457 48 49 50) or to plan a journey using various modes of transport ie Bus, Car and Train you can use Transport Direct the UK's integrated journey planning site.

Alternatively you can call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 10p a minute, plus network extras) for details of all bus, rail and coach services in Cheshire.

Reclaim your fare after train delays

If a train is delayed its possible to claim a full or partial refund. The exact time a journey needs to be late depends on the journey and company involved, but usually starts from 30 minutes. Contact your train operator for details of their compensation scheme.
