Timeline Real time Bus Information
Cheshire East Council's Integrated Transport Service is proud to
annouce the launch of the new "Timeline" pilot real time bus times
service in partnership with ACIS, Arriva, Bowers, Bakerbus and East
Cheshire NHS Trust running from 11th August 2009.

What is RTI?
Real Time Information (
RTI
) gives up to the minute "real
time" departure information on local bus services. You can see the
time a particular service is expected to arrive at a bus stop,
taking into account traffic conditions.
The information is displayed as "32 mins" for real time tracked
journeys and the scheduled timetable time "15:30" is displayed for
non real time tracked journeys.
The
RTI
system can be
accessed either by viewing the RTI displays installed at
Macclesfield General Hospital and Alderley Edge, London Road bus
stops or via the internet at the Timeline Website.
What services are in the real time pilot?
The following bus services are taking part in the pilot:
- Arriva 130 Macclesfield - Manchester Piccadilly
- Bakerbus 130 Macclesfield - East Didsbury (Evenings)
- Bowers 27, 27A, 27B Macclesfield - Knutsford with some journeys
to Congleton
