Who is responsible for the maintenance of bus shelters?

Responsibility for the maintenance of a bus shelter can fall with either Cheshire East Council or the Parish Council, depending on which authority provides and owns it.

How up to date are the timetable displays provided in Cheshire East Council's bus stop frames?

Bus timetable displays are provided at over 1130 bus stops in Cheshire East. Where possible we endeavour to update the displays in the frame the day before a service changes; although this can be a few days either side on occasion.

Updates can also be delayed where a service is changed with short notice. When this occurs we endeavour to provide new information as soon as possible. Passengers can check the currency of a display by looking for the "effective date" printed at the top of each display.
