Macclesfield Area Flexible Transport Service

Journeys can be made for almost any purpose; shopping, meeting friends, medical appointments or to connect to other bus or rail services.

The service is available Mondays to Fridays from 0930am to 1630pm and covers Macclesfield town, and on certain days Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Nether Alderley, Chelford, Knutsford, High Legh, Mobberley, Mottram St Andrew, Gawsworth, Rainow, Bollington, Prestbury, Styal, Sutton, Poynton and Disley.

Macclesfield Area - includes Prestbury, Bollington, Rainow, Gawsworth and Sutton Monday to Friday
Poynton and Disley Tuesday and Fridays
Wilmslow Area - includes Handforth, Styal, Alderley Edge and Nether Alderley Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays
Knutsford Area - includes Mobberley, Chelford and High Legh Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Booking a Journey

To use the service you will need to book your transport in advance. Please give at least 24 hours notice:

  •  Call Whitegate Travel on 01606 786833 Monday to Friday 0930am to 1230pm.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please let Whitegate Travel know as soon as possible to avoid wasted journeys.

Fare Information:

If you are disabled or of eligible age, you may be entitled to free off-peak concessionary travel on local buses anywhere in England. You may also be eligible to purchase a railcard at a discounted price.

Holders of a Concessionary Bus Pass travel free on this service at eligible times.
