Bus Shelters and Stops
Bus Shelters and Stops Responsibility
Responsibility for the maintenance of a bus shelter can fall
with either Cheshire East Council or the Parish Council, depending
on which authority provides and owns it.
Cheshire East Council has a contract with a company to install,
clean and maintain all of Cheshire East Council owned bus
shelters. Parish Councils have various similar arrangements for
their own bus shelters.
Cheshire East Council can help to provide information about
which authority owns which bus shelter in any district. For
assistance, contact the Bus Stop Infrastructure Team on:

On Street Bus Stop Frames
You can find bus stop timetable displays at over 1121 bus stops
in Cheshire East.
Where possible we endevour to update the displays in the frame
the day before a service change; although this can be a few days
either side on occasion.
Each display has a date at the top to show when it was last
updated. Please report any errors / queries to the Cheshire
Traveline.
