42 Timetable Details from 4th September 2011

Serving: Crewe - Leighton Hospital - Middlewich - Holmes Chapel - Congleton

Monday to Saturday with no service on Public Holidays.

Service also does not run on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

This service is normally operated by easy-access buggy and wheelchair friendly vehicles.

You can plan a door to door journey using Transport Direct. Simply enter your From and To locations, check the date and time and click Go.

You will then be presented with an itemised door to door journey on the Transport Direct website. Don't forgot to create an account and save your journey if your likely to visit the site again.

The Transport Direct site is not fully accessible. If you have difficulty using the site you can call the Cheshire Traveline for timetable information for any bus, rail or coach service serving Cheshire and Warrington on 0871 200 22 33 (calls cost 10p per minute plus network extras) open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.

Cheshire Travelcard

It's the latest electronic 'smartcard' technology to make paying for your bus fares more convenient. You can 'store' value on your card in multiples of £5, up to a maximum of £50 by topping it up on any D&G Bus.

From 4th September 2011, D&G Bus will give you a discount of 30% on all single and return tickets, as well as Day and Weekly Rover tickets.

Buses are equipped with high-tech readers which communicate with a chip in your smartcard. The fare is then deducted from your card and a receipt is issued showing your remaining balance.

Rover Tickets

Available from the driver on the day of travel for unlimited travel on all D&G Bus services.

Day Rover (valid for travel up until midnight on the day of issue)

  • £4.00 adult
  • £2.70 child
  • £3.00 student (valid student ID required).

Weekly Rover (valid for travel on the day of issue plus the following six days)

  • £14.00 adult (holders of Adult Weekly Rover tickets can travel at weekends accompanied by up to two children for no additional charge).
  • £9.40 child

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme - Bus Passes and Railcards

If you are disabled or of eligible age, you may be entitled to free off-peak concessionary travel on local buses anywhere in England. You may also be eligible to purchase a railcard at a discounted price.
