D&G and Arriva Bus Service 38 Macclesfield - Congleton - Sandbach - Crewe

Service changing 2nd June 2013 - D&G Bus have withdrawn their registration that was due to start on 3rd June 2013. No change to D&G Sunday service.

Arriva have registered changes to their existing service from 2nd June 2013:

From Macclesfield

  • Mon - Sat 2020, 2120, 2220, 2320 journeys withdrawn
  • Mon - Sat 1820, 1920 retimed
  • Mon - Sat new 2030 short to Congleton

From Crewe

  • Mon - Sat 2035, 2135, 2235, 2335 withdrawn
  • Mon - Sat 1835, 1935 retimed to leave 1820, 1920
  • Mon - Sat new shorts 2025 from Crewe to Sandbach and 2057 Congleton to Macclesfield

New Cheshire East Council contract awarded to bakerbus to provide a replacement Monday to Saturday evening service due to passenger numbers and the strategic nature of the service. Crewe to Macclesfield 2035, 2135, 2235, 2335 and Macclesfield to Crewe 2035, 2135, 2235, 2335 Mon - Sat. Tickets are not interchangeable between operators.

38 Timetable Details Macclesfield - Congleton - Sandbach - Crewe

Monday to Sunday with D&G Sunday service on the following Public Holidays:

  • Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Day, Spring Bank Holiday, August Bank Holiday

Service does not run on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Arriva and D&G journeys are normally operated by easy-access buggy and wheelchair friendly vehicles.
