Association of Industrial Road Safety Officers -
is an independent Membership organisation working in the interests of Road Safety, advancing education and training among all road users in the furtherance of accident prevention and reduction.

Association of National Driver Improvement Scheme Providers -
is run throughout England and Wales, by both local authorities and private companies as service providers to their prospective Police Authorities.

Brake -
is a road safety charity dedicated to stopping deaths and injuries on the road through awareness-raising campaigns, including Road Safety Week and educational resources. They also care for people bereaved and injured on the road.

British Helmet Initiative Trust -
aims to promote the wearing of bicycle helmets by the under 16 age group on a national scale. The Trust is committed to work in partnership to develop a proven community programme with other Health Care Districts, police, schools and road safety units to the benefit of young pedal cyclists living within their community.

CADD (Campaign Against Drinking & Driving) -
are the leading charity opposing drink/driving in the UK.

Cheshire Safer Roads Partnership - Cheshire's local road safety partnership that brings together local agencies and organisations that have a collective will to reduce casualties on the roads of Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton and Warrington.

Department for Transport - Road Safety -
contains information on the Government’s Road Safety Strategy and its targets for reducing the number of road deaths and injuries by 2010. In addition there is information about Government policies and initiatives and advice for all road users.

is a new web site from the Scottish Road Safety Campaign aimed at young drivers but of interest to drivers of all ages and experience. There are some good interactive games, plus information on the law, speeding, fatigue, driving abroad, and more.

Junior Road Safety Officer -
website is part of the Scottish Road Safety Campaign with lots of information and a few games.

Learn and Live -
is the original, award-winning, pressure group, formed by bereaved parents in 1989, committed to improving road safety, particularly among young and inexperienced drivers and their passengers. Learn about the risks and help them save other young lives.

Occupational Road Safety Alliance (ORSA) -
aims to bring together employers, trade unions, local authorities, police forces, safety organisations and professional and trade associations. It believes, in common with the Government and the Health and Safety Commission, that employers should manage at-work road risk within the framework that they should already have in place for managing all other occupational health and safety risks.

Pass Plus -
aims to make new drivers safer drivers, and can help keep your insurance down too! Backed by insurance companies, Central Government and the Driving Standards Agency, the Pass Plus scheme is designed to make you a better driver and so help you avoid being part of a gruesome statistic.

RoadSafe -
is a road safety partnership of leading companies in the motor and transport industries in Britain, the Government and road safety professionals. It aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by road accidents and promote safer driving.

Road Safety GB - is a national road safety organisation that represents and supports Road Safety Officers employed in local Government across the UK.

Road Transport Industry Training Board (RTITB) -
is an independent and impartial training accreditation body working extensively in the road haulage and distribution industry - your single point of contact for over 600 accredited providers of driver and operator training.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) -
is a registered charity providing information, advice, resources and training. They are actively involved in the promotion of safety in all areas of life - at work, in the home, on the roads, in schools, at leisure and on or near water. RoSPA aims to campaign for change, influence opinion, contribute to debate, educate and inform - for the good of all.

Safermotoring -
Safermotoring was formed in late 2005 to offer a unique reference point to help you to learn more about motoring safely, it contains over 70 articles & tips, all written by a team of experts.

Safe Routes to Schools (Sustrans) -
is a community approach to encourage more people to walk and cycle to school safely, improve road safety and reduce child casualties, improve children's health and development, and reduce traffic congestion and pollution.
