RingGo Cashless Parking
Motorists across Cheshire East can now take advantage of paying
for parking via their mobile phone. RingGo allows you to pay
for - all you need is the parking machine number, a
mobile phone and a payment card.
Where is RingGo available?
Parking fees can now be paid, by phone, at the following car
parks:
- Alderley Edge: South Street and West
Street
- Knutsford: King Street; Old Market Place;
Princess Street; Silk Mill Street; and Tatton Street
- Macclesfield: Exchange Street; Gas Road;
Macclesfield Railway Station; Waters Green; and Jordangate
multi-storey car park
- Wilmslow: Broadway Meadow; South Drive (long
and short stay car parks); and Spring Street multi-storey car
park
- Crewe: Pedley Street/Arthur Street; Railway
Street; and Crewe Alexandra Football Club car park
Payment by coins will still be available in these car parks.
Using a credit or debit card, you can pay for parking, using a
mobile phone, in 18 car parks, by telephoning 020 3046 0010. The
service is supplied by RingGo.
How does RingGo work?
No ticket is needed, simply register with RingGo and you can pay
and top up your parking on the move. Parking attendants will look
up your number plate on their handheld computer to see if you have
made a payment to RingGo.
Registering with RingGo
First-time users can register with RingGo by
telephoning the service on 02003 046 0010 or by
logging on to the RingGo website.
You will be asked for:
- Your number plate, make and colour of your vehicle
- The location of where you're parked (a four digit code is
displayed on signs in the car park)
- How long you want to park for
- Your card details
When you park
The next time you call, RingGo remembers you from last time and
asks you:
- to confirm the vehicle you want to park
- to confirm the location
- how long you want to park for
- your card security code
Extending your parking
To extend your parking whilst on the move simply call, text or
go online to RingGo again and it will ask you:
- How long you want to extend for
- Your card security code
Charges
Please note alongside your normal network providers
charges the following will be applied to RingGo
transactions:
- 20p per parking transaction
- 10p per text reminder
