Thomas Street (East and West) Car Park – Introduction of Pay and Display

The consultation period for the proposal to make an amendment Order (the effect of which would be to introduce a system of pay and display parking at Thomas Street (East and West) Car Parks), closed on 18th November 2009.

Objections received during the consultation period were considered by the Cabinet Member for Environmental Services at 11 am on Thursday 10th December 2009. The decision of this meeting was that the objections not be sustained and that the Order be made.

The Order was made on 18th February 2010. Introduction of the system of pay and display on this Car Park will come into effect on Monday 15th March 2010.
