Every G.P. surgery has a Health Visitor or Practice Nurse who has been trained by experts to become Stop Smoking Advisors. This service offers free one to one counselling during the initail stages of quitting and details of free smoking cessation groups are made available if you prefer. These support groups are run at regular intervals throughtout the year and have helped many residents to stop smoking.
