How to make a complaint about Children’s and Families
Services
Children’s services in Cheshire East provide a wide range of
services to thousands of children and families. This includes
education, social care, and other services, like Children’s
Centres, and we want to provide you with the very best services.
This factsheet is mainly concerned with Children’s social care, but
may be used for other parts of Children’s services at the
discretion of the Complaints Manager. In the event of a complaint
being made about the service, this will in the first instance, be
directed to the Complaints Manager who will then decide on the most
appropriate process to be followed. There are two processes
available to the Complaints Manager depending on the circumstances
and nature of the Complaint. These are:
