Cheshire East Celebrating and Recognising Excellence
Awards 2012
Nominations Now
Open!
Celebrating the Achievements of Cared for Children and
Care Leavers in Cheshire East.
On Sunday 4th November 2012, the 3rd annual Cheshire East
Celebrating and Recognising Excellence (C.A.R.E) Awards event will
be held to recognise the achievements of children and young people
who are cared for by Cheshire East Council.
All our cared for children and young people are unique and work
on their individual difficulties, often with considerable courage
and determination. We would like you to think about the
children and young people you know or work with, and nominate
them now if they have achieved anything from the beginning of
September 2011 through to the end of August 2012.
Nominations are sought for children aged 5 years and over. Every
nominated child and young person will receive a certificate
recognising their achievement. A panel will consider all the
nominations, from which 50 children and young people will be
invited to the special celebration event at Tenants’ Hall, Tatton
Park, Cheshire.
In order to be able to compare the nominations we receive, we
are asking you to write a summary of achievement(s), using no more
than 350 words. As part of the ceremony, there will be
several Outstanding Awards presented and one overall Mayor’s Award
for Outstanding and Exceptional Achievement. If you feel the person
you are nominating deserves an Outstanding Award, then please
provide additional information on the nominations form.
To nominate a child or young person please
complete our online nomination form.
Deadline for completed nominations is 5.00pm on Wednesday 12th
September 2012.
If you require any additional information, please email care@cheshireeast.gov.uk or
telephone 01270 375169.
