Cheshire East Carers - Emotional Support
Family support workers provide valuable support to carers
throughout Cheshire, as do community mental health teams and
provider services through one to one case work.
Carers support groups are held monthly across Cheshire supported
by family support workers/statutory professionals.
We are developing carers links with GP practices and with
community mental health teams across Cheshire.
We are looking to expand and increase our links with many of our
partner agencies throughout the County to provide an active network
of support for carers, wherever they are and whichever agency they
happen to be in touch with. By joining up our services in
this way we aim to make it much easier for people to access and
enjoy the support available to them.
