Disley Primary School - proposed expansion

The Local Authority has a statutory duty to provide sufficient school places for children resident in its area. An analysis of the latest pupil forecasts has identified the need to provide additional primary school places in Disley in response to increasing pupil populations.

The data produced indicates the need for an extra 70 school places (reception to year 6) which, if agreed, would provide 10 more reception class places from September 2017.

Further information on the need and rational for the additional places can be found in the consultation document (PDF, 272KB).
