Stay and play 9.30am to 11.00am (term-time only)

For children aged from birth up to 5 years old. Come and explore a range of play activities, including messy play and outdoor play, with interactive rhyme and song time to end.

Please bring spare clothes for your child, outdoor and messy play will be available whatever the weather. A light, healthy snack is provided for the little ones. No need to book, just turn up.

Parent Voice  

Our Children's Centres are for you and your children. Come and have your say at our Parent Voice meetings.

We meet straight after the Stay & Play session on a Monday, every 3 months.

The children can continue to play alongside. Light refreshments provided.

CAB family advice service

(once every two weeks)

Appointments at 10.00am and 11.00am

Drop in service from 9.00am to 10.00am

Phone the centre to book an appointment to see a CAB adviser.

Help with financial or benefit issues, legal problems, trouble with housing or any other consumer issues.

Tiny tots time 9.30am to 11.00am

A range of sensory play activities for parents with babies from birth until walking.

Meet other parents and carers in a fun, baby-focused environment.

Learn about your baby's development, and discover ideas and activities to use at home.

Well baby clinic

9.15am to 11.00am

(Last entry is at 10:45am)

A drop-in clinic to have your baby weighed and a chance to discuss any health or development concerns with our dedicated team of Health Visitors.
Development checks 1.30pm to 4.00pm Appointments available with our team of Health Visitors for your child's routine health and development checks. Please call 0151 514 222, option 6, to book your child's appointment. Appointments are also available on Friday mornings.

Parent Education 10.00am to 12.00pm

Antenatal classes for first- time parents, providing information around the later stages of pregnancy, labour and beyond.

Cherubs

Breastfeeding Support

11.30am to 1.00pm

Providing information and support for breastfeeding mums in a friendly and relaxed environment.

Advice and support on hand from breastfeeding mums as well as breastfeeding coordinators.

Also attended by Macclesfield Baby Wearers on the first Thursday of each month.

Development checks 9.30 to 12.00pm Appointments available with our team of Health Visitors for your child's routine health and development checks. Please call 0151 514 222 option 6, to book your child's appointment. Appointments are also available on Wednesday afternoons.
Midwife Clinic 1.30pm to 4.15pm Phone the centre to book an appointment to see your midwife.
Little stars 1.00pm to 3.00pm A parent-led drop in group for children aged 0-5 years with disabilities and/or additional needs.Come and join us for fun activities in a relaxed atmosphere. A place where children can play and parents can find support. Siblings are welcome too.

Parenting Journey

Parenting journey is a new universal offer for parents and carers across Cheshire East.

Delivered by Children's Centre staff and Health Visitors, Parenting Journey consists of 12 stops from pregnancy until your child start school and provides advice and support around health, your child's development and their readiness for school.

Adult education

Various courses are offered throughout the year including.

  • English
  • English as a second language.
  • First Aid

Baby massage

Learn how to massage your baby whilst helping strengthen baby to parent communication, boost self esteem and confidence in parenting, relax both parent and baby, improve attachment and bonding, relieve wind, colic and constipation and reduce crying.

Speak to a member of staff if you would like to join us.

Lending library

Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4.00pm

Call in to borrow up to 3 books per child. Your books can then be enjoyed at home for up to 3 weeks at a time.

Each child will be given a FREE gift when they join and for every 6 books your child borrows, they will be rewarded with a Bookstart Bear Club certificate.

There's a total of 10 certificates to collect.

Sensory Room

Help stimulate your child's senses in a relaxing environment with a range of sensory toys and equipment.

For up to 2 adults and 2 babies/children at a time.

To book your 30 minute session contact the centre.
