Library locations and opening hours
When libraries are closed you can renew and reserve items online - log in to your library account with your library card number and PIN .
Our enquiry desks and public computers close 15 minutes before the library's actual closing time.
Christmas and New Year opening hours
- All libraries will close at 1pm on Wednesday 24 December an will remain closed on Thursday 25, Friday 26, and Saturday 27 December.
- Normal opening hours apply on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 December.
- All libraries will close at 5pm on Wednesday 31 December and stay closed on Thursday 1 January 2026.
- Normal opening hours start again on Friday 2 January.
Alderley Edge Library
There will be no volunteer sessions on Tuesdays 16, 23 and 30 December and Tuesday 6 January. The library will closed at 1.30pm on those dates.
