Science extravaganza workshop with Molecular Marty
Prepare to be wowed at this Fun Science event on Thursday 23 February at 2.00-3.00pm. We'll be making mini volcanoes and slime, and trying many more thrilling activities. Suitable for children aged 5-11 years. Space is strictly limited, so please get a ticket in advance. Tickets £3.00 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Make friends with a book
On Wednesday 1 March we are launching a new weekly reading group. No need to book, just turn up between 11.00am and 12.00 noon and make friends through shared reading. Free; refreshments available.
On Thursday 9 March at 11.00-11.30am we have a puppet show with traditional stories for pre-school children. Free and no need to book. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Baby signing taster session
Learn how to communicate with your baby before they can talk. Come along to a free baby signing, singing and sensory perception session with the award winning Tiny Talk team on Thursday 9 March at 2.00pm. Aimed at babies from birth to 18 months of age.

Hampers of Hope
Hampers of Hope is a charity that provides food hampers to people in crisis, as well as offering other services such as job clubs, budgeting advice, cookery and parenting classes through their Hope Centres. You can find out more about their work on the Hampers of Hope website. If you would like to donate food to the charity, we now have a food donation bin available in the library.

Manchester Airport Community Information Point
Airport staff available to answer queries each Tuesday between 9.30am and 5pm, with the exception of the first Tuesday each month when the advice desk is available from 1pm to 7pm.
U3A Scrabble Group
The University of the Third Age runs a Scrabble group each Friday at 2.00-4.00pm. £1.00 entry fee. New members welcome.
