Animal Agents summer reading challenge
We've got another special event this month to keep children motivated to complete the challenge. Children must be accompanied by an adult:
Canine capers creative writing
On Thursday 31 August at 2.30-3.30pm meet Bentley the dog and be inspired by him to think and write like a dog! Suitable for children aged 8 years and over. £2.00 per child; book in advance.
Craft and coffee
On Tuesday 12 September at 2.00-3.00pm bring along your own crafting projects, share skills and meet new people. Only £1.00.
iTea and chat
On Friday 22 September get IT tips and advice from Connected Communities and enjoy a cuppa. Open to all ages and abilities. Equipment is provided or bring your own device along. Free, just drop in between 10.00am and 12.00 noon.
Charles Heathcote author visit
On Monday 25 September at 2.30-3.30pm local author, Charles Heathcote, will be reading from his latest humours book, Indisputably Doris. Free; refreshments available.
Harvest Festival afternoon
On Thursday 28 September at 2.00-3.30pm the Relish Reading Group present a Harvest Festival. Relish are collecting food donations and need your help to create attractive food parcels, so come along for a relaxed afternoon of refreshments, poetry, songs and stories. Free, all welcome.

A representative will be in the library every Saturday morning between 10.00 and 11.00am.
There is a Community Agent in the library once a month to help seniors with housing issues, money matters, or assistance completing forms and finding social activities. Please contact the library for details of their next visit.
Macmillan Cancer Support
There is a representative from Macmillan in the library every fortnight on a Wednesday. Drop in between 10.00am and 12.00 noon for advice on treatments, benefits, support groups and more. Contact the library for dates.
Police Community Support Officer
The local PCSO will hold a surgery in the library once a month. Please contact the library for details of the next visit.
One You Cheshire East
Get friendly local support to help you eat well, move more, stop smoking or drink less on alternate Tuesdays at 10.00-12.00 noon.
