Star Wars reads
Pop into the library on Thursday 4 May between 1.30 and 7.00pm to collect a free LEGO Star Wars poster, stickers and activity pack. There's a competition to enter too! All welcome.
Dementia Awareness information
During Dementia Awareness Week we are holding a free Dementia Friends information session, on Tuesday 16 May at 1.00-1.45pm. Free, but places are limited so please book in advance.
Explore Learning workshop
On Thursday 18 May we have another free Explore Learning community workshop for children, at 4.00-5.00pm. This is a maths-based workshop called Jungle Survival. Suitable for children aged 5 years and over. Please book in advance.
Elmer pop-up storytime
Join us on Thursday 25 May at 2.00-2.30pm, when we will be sharing Elmer stories in the run up to Elmer Day on 27 May.
On Saturday 27 May we're celebrating with Elmer activities: make some Elmer ears or an Elmer mask. There's a best Elmer picture competition, a pin the trunk on Elmer and Elmer hide and seek too! Free, just come along and join in between 10.00am and 12.00 noon.
Where's Wally fun
Join us on Tuesday 30 May at 10.30-11.30am for an hour of Where's Wally activities. £2.00; please book in advance. Suitable for children aged 4-8 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

- LEGO Club - 4.00-5.00pm - monthly on second Thursday of each month
- Reading Group - 5.45 - 6.45pm - monthly. Meets on the third Thursday of the month. £8.00 annual joining fee
- Baby Rhymetime - 2.15-2.45pm - weekly. For babies under 12 months, who are not yet walking, and their carers
- Book Lovers Group - 10.00-11.00am - monthly. Meets on the first Friday of each month

Hampers of Hope
Hampers of Hope is a charity that provides food hampers to people in crisis, as well as offering other services such as job clubs, budgeting advice, cookery and parenting classes through their Hope Centres. You can find out more about their work on the Hampers of Hope website. If you would like to donate food to the charity, we now have a food donation bin available in the library.
