Bound
Cheshire East Libraries are taking part in the North West
regional reading and writing promotion, Pages Ago. The initiative
runs from May to November 2010 and is organised by Time to Read.
Look out for special events and displays at a library near you, including a visit by author of
the Warriors of Rome series, Harry Sidebottom, to
Macclesfield
Library on 4th August at 2pm. Find out more about Pages

Space Hop -
Youngsters take one giant leap into Libraries!
Space Hop is the 12th national summer
reading challenge for children. Join in from Saturday 10th July
until Saturday 4th September 2010 in all Cheshire East Libraries.
It's free to take part, just read six or more books of your
choice and collect stickers along the way to complete the
challenge. Everyone who completes the challenge will get a
certificate and medal at a special award ceremony.
Some libraries are holding special Space
Hop events and activities, so look out for these over the

Joining the library is free for all!
Joining the library opens up a vast
world of knowledge, entertainment, culture and information. Once
you become a member you may borrow up to 20 items. This may be up
to 20 books or 8 multimedia items, except computer software,
console games and DVD box sets where the maximum is 2 items.
