Food and Drink in Cheshire East

From farmer’s markets and sensational smokehouses, to fabulous fishmongers and divine delis, you’ll be forgiven for thinking you’ve died and gone to foodie heaven in Cheshire East.

Slake your thirst in a cosy country inn, or make like the aristocracy and take high tea in a stately home. Visit a local microbrewery to sample some regional ales, then round off your day with dinner at an award winning restaurant.

Head to Wilmslow for a taste of the Mediterranean, or visit Prestbury for a romantic candlelit dinner. Treat yourself to afternoon tea in Alderley Edge or try one of Congleton’s great gastropubs.
