The Rangers run a large number of varied and
interesting events, across Cheshire East, throughout the year.
Adult and child (4-17 years old) charges are shown for each event,
Children under 4 are free.

A Woodland Expedition

Wild Play activity will include a woodland trail, tree
identification activities and games, tree hugging and guessing the

Tegg's Nose Bilberry Pick
Healthy, organic, tasty and free. Bilberry,
blueberry, blaeberry, whin; whatever you want to call them they
grow wild all over Tegg’s Nose and all you have to do is bring a
container and get picking. The Food4Macc team will be on hand to
explain the best places to look and will provide more information
about where to source great local food.

Batty About Bats
Bats are one of the UK's most misunderstood
animals. Come and dispel a few myths and find out more about these
fascinating creatures as we take a short stroll at the Carrs Park,

Romany Open Day
Better known as Romany to his many
“Children's Hour” listeners in the 1930s and 1940s, the Reverend
George Bramwell Evens was the first media naturalist to fire the
imagination of a generation. These open days are your chance to
visit his caravan and learn a little more about his life and times,
with the help of the Rangers and members of the Romany Society,
through storytelling and displays. The caravan is situated in the
Romany Memorial Gardens, South Drive, Wilmslow.

Cemetery Heritage Trail (The Victorian Worthies)
Join Fiona Ware to discover the histories of
some of our Victorian worthies from the Mayor to the Mill Owner and
from the policeman to the Workhouse Superintendent who rest in
Macclesfield Cemetery.
