Library Survey Reports
The report below contains the results of the Children's survey
carried out in 16 Cheshire libraries during September
2007. Children under 16 completed questionnaires about
their views on and use of the library. 84% of respondents rated the
Library Service as Good. The results of the surveys and the
comments will be taken into account in planning changes and
improvements in the year ahead. Thank you to all who took part.
The following report illustrates the findings from our previous
Adult survey. The next Adult survey will be held in autumn
2009.
Library Partnerships
- Libraries for Educational Access Regional
Network - information about the LEARN
partnership and participating organisations.
- Laughter in the Library - In the summer
of 2008, Stephanie Davies Founder and Creative Director of
Laughology designed and facilitated a series of Laughter in the
Library workshops for staff and the public. This pioneering
approach to staff development and improved mental health and
wellbeing proved successful and was well received by participants.

Library poster was displayed during the poster sessions at the
Chartered Institute of Library & Information Professionals'
Umbrella conference in July 2009, and was chosen for the Delegates' Choice award.
