National Bookstart Week 2013

Join us on Monday 24th June at 11.00-11.30am and celebrate National Bookstart Week with our Fairy Tale Storytime.

On Thursday 27th June we're celebrating with a Fairy Tale Rhymetime at 11.00-11.30am. Mr Bookstart Bear will be coming and children are invited to attend in their favourite Fairy Tale costume.

National Crime Writing Month 2013

Join us on Thursday 27th June at 7.00pm for an evening with Kate Ellis. Tickets cost £3.00, including light refreshments.

Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival, 28th June - 14th July 2013

We are taking part in the 4th annual Wilmslow Scarecrow Festival. Come along and join in the fun!

A Day in the Life of Wilmslow Library

In 2012 local photographic society 'Lindow 10'  took a series of photographs for an exhibition in the library. The images capture frontline and behind the scenes activities and Lindow 10 have produced a video slide show (WMV, 35MB) for us to share. Please note there is no transcript as the video does not contain speech or  narration.

Ancestry Taster Sessions

Ancestry taster sessions offer the chance to learn how to access the huge amount of information contained on this online resource that can support Family History research. It can also help you to understand what else is available online for people with an interest in local studies or family history. Sessions cost £2.00. If you are interested in booking an Ancestry taster session please contact the library to find out about the next session.

• Under 5s Storytime - 11.00-11.30am - term time only. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer. 
• IT Buddy - 10.00-12.15pm. Please book in advance at the library

Tuesday

• IT Buddy - 10.00-12 noon. Please book in advance at the library.

Thursday

• Under 5s Rhymetime - 11.00-11.30 - term time only. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.  
• Afternoon Story and Tea - 2.30-3.30pm - one session each month. Details on this page or contact the library.

Information Desk in the library on Tuesday and Wednesday at 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Citizens' Advice Bureau

Information Desk in the library on Thursdays between 5.30-6.30pm. From Thursday 4th April, also providing appointments only between 9.30-11.30am. Please call 01625 432847 to make an appointment.

Wilmslow Express Reporter

There is a reporter in the library on Thursdays at 10.00am - 12.00pm. They will take articles and stories for the weekly publication.
