Play in the Park
Join staff from the
library and Cheshire East Play Development Team for an afternoon of
fun and games, stories and rhymes on Thursday 5th
August between 12.00-4.00pm. This is a free event, just drop
in.
Astronomy Workshop
Want to learn more
about astronomy? Want to learn about the night sky and the sun?
Then come along on Wednesday 18th August at 2.00-4.30pm. Aimed at
children aged 8 years and over, but suitable for beginners aged
8-80! Please book in advance as places are limited. Tickets cost
£1.00 from the library.

Text Messages
Do you know that you can now let us have your mobile phone number
and we can automatically text you a reminder when your books are
overdue and when items that have been reserved are ready to pick up
at the library? Next time you are in the library please ask a
member of staff for more details on this new service. You can still
receive email messages about overdue items and reservations ready
to be collected, too.

Under 5s Rhymes and Stories - 11.00-11.30 - every first
and third Wednesday in the month. Children must be accompanied by a
parent or carer.

University of the Third Age advice desk available every Wednesday
between 10am and 12 midday. The U3A Information Board is available

Directions
Sandbach Library is situated on
one side of the Common, near the centre of town. It is adjacent to
the Fire Station, the Town Park and a large car park.
Public Transport
Sandbach Railway Station
is approx 2 miles away in Elworth. There are bus stops at the
Common, serving the surrounding areas in most directions.
Parking
Free parking is available in the
large car park opposite the library every day except Thursdays
(market day) and Autumn Wakes Weekend.
Disabled Parking
There are several
designated spaces in the adjacent car park.
